I bought Ziggy to train and compete in obedience as I had trained my crossbreed, Gypsy, before and wanted to train another dog from scratch having learnt the techniques with Gypsy.  Ziggy excelled in it and we often drew a crowd in the local park when I worked him.  As Groenendael owners will tell you, when they are working hard their coats gleam and flow as they do their heelwork, which is quite an impressive sight.

As we live on the Isle of Wight its awkward to get across to the mainland as often as I would like, so Ziggy was only lightly competed in both the show ring and the obedience ring.  However, he won a beginners obedience class and qualified for Crufts breed ring on many occasions.

Ziggy is missed around the house.  He taught me alot about Belgian Shepherds and he will always hold an enormous place in my heart.

Ziggy you are everywhere and nowhere.
